“ELOGIO DELLA FOLLIA”
Dal 17 al 31 Maggio 2023 l’ Arch. Claudia Mantelli Art Curator
& Exhibitions Organizer e l’Associazione Culturale
DOODLE ART-Advanced Art Project & Design invitano Artisti e Designer all’ Evento di Arte Contemporanea “ ELOGIO DELLA FOLLIA ” presso: SPAZIO EX FORNACE, Via Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 16 , 20143 Milano (MI).
Ogni Artista, Designer potrà partecipare usufruendo di differenti tagli di spazio espositivo in funzione delle proprie Opere d’ Arte e dei risultati espositivi che vuole ottenere, sempre in accordo con il Curatore d’Arte Claudia Mantelli.
Si richiedono:
-Breve Biografia / Curriculum
-Immagine delle Opere da esporre in formato jpg con risoluzione minima 300 dpi.
-Indicazione dei prezzi delle Opere d’ Arte ( eventualmente concordabili con il Curatore Claudia Mantelli).
La percentuale sulla vendita é del 40%, eventualmente concordabile con il Curatore
-Ricevuta di Pagamento quota di partecipazione di Euro (vedi PDF da chiedere al Curatore via mail) per 200 cm., Euro(vedi PDF) per 300 cm., Euro (vedi PDF) per 400 cm., per Opere di Pittura, Fotografia, Collages, Street Art, Digital Art, Installazioni a parete.
-Per quanto concerne le Installazioni concettuali, di Scultura o di Design gli spazi sono due centrali di 200 X 200 cm. Euro (vedi PDF).
-Altri 2 Scultori o Designer, che potranno esporre su altri supporti/basi di 250 cm. e altre misure.
-Ogni Artista potrà esporre il n. di Opere con le le relative misure con il supporto del Curatore.
-Ogni Opera da esporre dovrà essere fornita di “Attaccaglie”, triangoli o filo di corda, o alluminio , in quanto dovrà essere appesa alle catenelle.
-Se l’Artista é associato a Doodle Art avrà uno sconto del 10% sulla Quota .
-Nel caso in cui l’Artista voglia associarsi alla Doodle Art, la Quota sarà di sole (vedi pdf) Euro per 200 cm. ( e per le altre misure l’Artista si accorderà col Curatore.)Sconti del 10% sui successivi 3 Eventi, pubblicazione delle Opere sul website dell’Associazione e Opere pubblicate , in vendita , sul website curatoriale di Claudia Arch. Mantelli con previa compilazione del Mandato a Vendere!
Le Opere d’ Arte dovranno essere presso lo Spazio Ex-Fornace Gola, Via Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 16, 20143 Milano i giorni 17/18 Maggio 2023 dalle ore 09:40 alle ore 16:00.
Ritiro delle Opere a carico dell’Artista il giorno 31 Maggio 2023 dalle ore 09:30 alle ore 18:30
-L’Assicurazione non é compresa anche se la Location é sorvegliata dalle Forze dell’ Ordine.
-Nel caso in cui l’ Artista invii Opere delicate, si consiglia di assicurarle.
Accetteremo le Opere d’ Arte dai Corrieri con riserva per la sicurezza dell’ Artista.
Nella quota sono comprese:

-Intervento di Interior Design temporaneo al fine trasformare lo Spazio di un’ Ex-Fornace in un’ originale e raffinata scenografia espositiva ad opera dell’Arch. Claudia Mantelli
-Materiale pubblicitario.
-Pubblicità digitale durante e dopo l’Evento sui Social
-Vernissage il giorno 19 Maggio 2023, ore 18,30. -Orari di apertura : dalle
09,00 alle 22,00 -Presenza del Curatore dalle ore 15,30 alle ore 22,00, compreso il week-end.
-Sorveglianza nell’orario di apertura della galleria
-Eventuali Eventi, Conferenze e Performances durante l’ Evento.
– Allestimento e disallestimento della Mostra.

“PRAISE OF MADNESS
From 17 to 31 May 2023 the Arch. Claudia Mantelli Art Curator
& Exhibitions Organizer and the Cultural Association
DOODLE ART-Advanced Art Project & Design invite Artists and Designers to the Contemporary Art Event “ PRAISE OF FOLLIA ” at: SPAZIO EX FURNACE, Via Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 16, 20143 Milan (MI).
Each Artist, Designer will be able to participate by taking advantage of different cuts of exhibition space according to their own Works of Art and the exhibition results that they want to obtain, always in agreement with the Art Curator Claudia Mantelli.
The following are required:
-Short Biography / Curriculum Vitae

  • Image of the Works to be exhibited in jpg format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  • Indication of the prices of the Works of Art (possibly negotiable with the Curator Claudia Mantelli).
    The percentage on the sale is 40%, possibly negotiable with the Curator
  • Receipt of payment of participation fee of Euro (see PDF to ask the Curator) for 200 cm., Euro (see PDF) for 300 cm., Euro (see PDF to ask the Curator) for 400 cm., for Paintings, Photography, Collages, Street Art, Digital Art, Wall installations.
    -As regards the conceptual, sculpture or design installations, the spaces are two central ones measuring 200 x 200 cm. euros (see PDF to ask the Curator)
  • 2 other Sculptors or Designers, who will be able to exhibit on other supports/bases of 250 cm. and other measures.
    -Each Artist will be able to exhibit the n. of Works with the relative measures with the support of the Curator.
    -Each Work to be exhibited must be equipped with “Attachments”, triangles or rope thread, or aluminum, as it must be hung on the chains.
    -If the Artist is associated with Doodle Art you will have a 10% discount on the Fee.
    -In case the Artist wants to join the Doodle Art, the Fee will be only (see PDF to ask the Curator) Euros for 200 cm. (and for other measures the Artist will agree with the Curator.) 10% discount on the following 3 Events, publication of the Works on the Association’s website and Works published, for sale, on the curatorial website of Claudia Arch. Mantelli with prior compilation of the mandate to sell!
    The Works of Art must be at the Spazio Ex-Fornace Gola, Via Alzaia Naviglio Pavese 16, 20143 Milan on 17/18 May 2023 from 09:40 to 16:00.
    Withdrawal of the Works by the Artist on 31 May 2023 from 09:30 to 18:30
    -Insurance is not included even if the Location is supervised by the Police.
    -In the event that the Artist sends delicate Works, it is advisable to insure them.
    We will accept the Works of Art from the Couriers subject to the safety of the Artist.
    The fee includes:

-Intervention of temporary Interior Design in order to transform the space of a former furnace into an original and refined exhibition scenography by the Arch. Claudia Mantelli
-Advertising material.
-Digital advertising during and after the Event on Social Media
-Vernissage on 19 May 2023, 6.30 pm. – Opening hours : from
09.00 to 22.00 – Presence of the Curator from 15.30 to 22.00, including the weekend.

  • Surveillance during gallery opening hours
    -Eventual Events, Conferences and Performances during the Event.
  • Setting up and dismantling of the Exhibition.

-NESSUN DORMA – Perche’ questo Evento? Why this Event?

NESSUN DORMA

Amando l’Arte in ogni sua forma ed espressione, ho ideato questo Evento di Arte contemporanea in omaggio al celebre Compositore italiano, Giacomo Puccini, considerato uno dei migliori e più significativi Operisti di tutti i tempi e alla Musica.

È un Evento particolare, in quanto non si tratta di suonare musica, bensì di esprimere la musicalità interiore attraverso le Belle Arti e il Design.
Un’ Opera d’ Arte contemporanea positiva o negativa che sia, trasmette una
musicalità che coinvolge l’Osservatore più attento e sensibile.
Nel caso in cui ci si trovi di fronte ad un Capolavoro il Silenzio potrebbe avvolgerci con una spirale di emozioni.Ogni Artista potrà esprimere sé stesso e la propria relazione con la musica, attraverso le proprie Opere d’Arte pittoriche, fotografiche, scultoree, di Design d’Arte, …senza forzature di alcun genere!Sono queste interazioni, dinamismi artistici, sound che daranno vita all’ Evento ” NESSUN DORMA”. E’ la contaminazione artistica a creare la Magia!
Ognuno è libero di esporre le proprie creazioni facendo sentire sé stesso, emozioni, sogni, “denunce”… turbamenti…
Adoro questo Titolo, anche perché è significativo in questo particolare momento: abbiamo passato quasi tre anni reclusi, causa Covid, guerre, problemi che hanno spinto buona parte di Noi a sentirci quasi “sedati”, ansiosi ed è venuto il momento di dire basta: 

Nessun dorma, nel senso che bisogna vivere attivamente e positivamente la propria Vita,
…la propria favolosa Arte!

Loving Art in all its forms and expressions, I created this Contemporary Art Event in homage to the famous Italian composer, Giacomo Puccini, considered one of the best and most significant Operists of all time and to Music.

It is a particular Event, as it is not about playing music, but about expressing inner musicality through Fine Arts and Design.
A work of contemporary art, whether positive or negative, transmits one
musicality that involves the most attentive and sensitive observer.
In the event that we are faced with a Masterpiece, Silence could envelop us with a spiral of emotions.Each Artist will be able to express himself and his relationship with music, through his own pictorial, photographic, sculptural, Art Design… without forcing of any kind! It is these interactions, artistic dynamisms, sounds that will give life to the “NESSUN DORMA” Event. It is the artistic contamination that creates the Magic!
Everyone is free to exhibit their creations by making themselves feel, emotions, dreams, “complaints” … disturbances …
I love this title, also because it is significant in this particular moment: we have spent almost three years in prison, due to Covid, wars, problems that have pushed most of us to feel almost “sedated”, anxious and the time has come to say enough:

“NESSUN DORMA”, in the sense that one must actively and positively live one’s life,
… your own fabulous Art!

NESSUN DORMA -Testo e Romanza-Text and Romance

Nessun dorma è una celebre romanza per tenore della Turandot di Giacomo Puccini, considerata come una delle più grandi romanze della storia della musica.

Giacomo PucciniÈ intonata dal personaggio di Calaf all’inizio del terzo atto. Immerso nella notte di Pechino, in totale solitudine, il “Principe ignoto” attende il sorgere del giorno, quando potrà finalmente conquistare l’amore di Turandot, la principessa di ghiaccio.

Tu pure, o, principessa,
Nella tua fredda stanza,
Guardi le stelle
Che tremano d’amore
E di speranza.

Ma il mio mistero e chiuso in me,
Il nome mio nessun saprá!

Il Testo poetico.

Nell’atto precedente a quest’aria, Calaf ha correttamente risposto ai tre enigmi fatti a tutti i potenziali pretendenti della principessa Turandot. Nondimeno, la donna indietreggia al pensiero del matrimonio con lui. Calaf le offre un’altra possibilità sfidandola a indovinare il suo nome all’alba. Mentre si inginocchia davanti a lei, il tema “Nessun dorma” fa la sua prima apparizione, secondo le sue parole, “Il mio nome non sai!”. Lei può ucciderlo se indovina correttamente il suo nome; ma se non lo fa, deve sposarlo. La principessa crudele ed emotivamente fredda decreta quindi che nessuno dei suoi sudditi dormirà quella notte fino a quando non verrà scoperto il suo nome. Se falliscono, tutti verranno uccisi. Quando si apre l’atto finale, è notte. Calaf è solo nei giardini del palazzo illuminati dalla luna. In lontananza, sente gli araldi di Turandot che proclamano i suoi comandi. La sua aria inizia con un’eco del loro pianto e una riflessione sulla principessa Turandot e inizia l’Opera di Giacomo Puccini.

No dorma is a famous romance for tenor from Giacomo Puccini’s Turandot, considered one of the greatest romances in the history of music.

Giacomo Puccini It is sung by the character of Calaf at the beginning of the third act. Immersed in the Beijing night, in total solitude, the “Unknown Prince” awaits the dawn, when he will finally be able to win the love of Turandot, the ice princess.

The poetic text.

In the act preceding this aria, Calaf correctly answered the three puzzles made to all potential suitors of Princess Turandot. Nonetheless, the woman recoils at the thought of marrying him. Calaf offers her another chance by challenging her to guess her name at dawn. As he kneels before her, the theme “No sleep” makes her first appearance, in her words, “My name you don’t know!”. She can kill him if she guesses her name correctly; but if she doesn’t, she has to marry him. The cruel and emotionally cold princess then decrees that none of her subjects will sleep that night until her name is discovered. If they fail, everyone will be killed. When the final act opens, it is night. Calaf is alone in the palace gardens illuminated by the moon. In the distance, he hears Turandot’s heralds proclaiming his commands to him. His aria begins with an echo of their tears and a reflection on Princess Turandot and the opera by Giacomo Puccini begins.

La Location dell’Evento di Arte contemporanea & Design in Piazza Enrico Berlinguer, Via Savona, 99, 20144 Milano MI.

Il Palazzo Seicentro è situato nel centro storico dei Navigli, P.zza Berlinguer, Via Savona n°.99, Milano. È un Palazzo molto bello, dedicato all’Arte contemporanea, al Design. Nelle tre sale espositive ho pensato di ideare “Nessun Dorma”, Evento di Arte contemporanea caratterizzato da Pittura, tra cui Astrazione, Street Art, Pop Art, Collage Scultura, Installazioni, Performance e Design . La posizione di tale Location è decisamente interessante, in quanto si trova nella splendida zona dei Navigli, oggi centro della scena artistica e del Design di Milano. Grazie.

The Location of the Contemporary Art & Design Event in Piazza Enrico Berlinguer, Via Savona, 99, 20144 Milan MI.
Palazzo Seicentro is located in the historic center of the Navigli, P.zza Berlinguer, Via Savona n ° .99, Milan.
It’s a very beautiful building, dedicated to contemporary art, to design. In the three exhibition rooms I thought of creating “Nessun Dorma”, a Contemporary Art Event characterized by Painting, including Abstraction, Street Art, Pop Art, Collage Sculpture, Installations, Performance and Design. The location of this Location is very interesting, as it is located in the splendid Navigli area, today the center of the Milan art and design scene. Thank you.
