La mia formazione è quasi interamente da autodidatta. Ho iniziato a disegnare all’età di quattro anni,ad otto sono andato a bottega d’arte per bambini, dove ho imparato tutte le tecniche. A tredici copiavo i “Classici”. In una classe è stata la copia di “La lattaia” di Vermeer, e fece il basket, è l’insegnante e mi corregge, ho preso le mie cose, e ho detto “no copiare più”, ho lasciato e mai restituito. Da allora in poi ho studiato i classici, facendo un modo molto particolare della pittura. Ho preso come modello di Giotto, Michelangelo lì, dopo Raffaello, Fra Angelico acceso e poi Siqueiros, Rivera e Orozco.
